A digital print press operator uses a HP 6k and HP 8k digital printing press and software programs to effectively create materials per customer request

Often, successful digital print operators have numerous printing projects going at the same time and create schedules to reflect these various deadlines

In addition, operators may also need to play the role of a digital press maintenance technician if repairs on the machine is required

Responsible for achieving all departmental business, quality and safety goals established by management

Run and monitor digital press to verify quality, productivity, and waste in order to meet established requirements

Able to set up press and ancillary equipment such as stackers, turrets, fan folders, Arpeco, hand tables, cameras, etc., to run specific jobs within proscribed times and meet all operational, quality and safety standards

Address all production, scheduling, quality, and maintenance problems

With appropriate training, make multiple adjustments to equipment to meet/exceed company job specifications and ISO standards on all presses

Ability to match PMS colors via spectrodensitometer

Able to follow label workflow

Produce accurate and high quality printed materials in compliance with job specifications
